If you are expecting or already have young kids, this is the post for you. You don’t have to have an entire room dedicated to a playroom. Many of these items can be used in a bedroom, living room, or a corner of a dining room. Whatever works for your home and your family.
One BIG thing you will need is STORAGE! We have several storage bins (#13) in our home. We have two in our play area and one in my daughter’s bedroom. I love these because of course it keeps my kids’ toys organized but also keeps the toys in their line of site. This allows them to see what toys they do have which makes it more likely that they will actually play with them. Also wanted to point that one of my kids has special needs and LOVES tents. I added a few options below for that very reason. It’s a great way for special needs AND typical kiddos to have a cozy place to feel like they can get away when they need alone time.
Hope these options leave you feeling inspired and ready to tackle your play area! All links below are affiliate. Have fun!
