Winter Wreaths & Garlands

Ok, it’s time. I don’t like getting into Christmas too early because I love being in the moment for the holidays leading up to Christmas season, but… we do have to plan ahead, right? So let’s get into it. This year I’m starting with garlands and wreaths because they are an obvious classic in Christmas and winter decor. I’ve rounded up some of my favorite wreaths and garlands for 2023. Because they are timeless, they are a great investment for seasonal decor.

I love hanging several garlands on my mantle each winter for a full look. Don’t be afraid to mix your greenery. This adds great texture, interest, and dimension with various shades of green. Add a few strings of lights to your garlands and you will have such a cozy living space. LOVE the magnolia garland by ballard designs. This is perfect for the holidays, but can hang around all winter without looking like you’re leaving Christmas decor up way past the holidays. Boxwood is timeless and gorgeous (boxwood wreath – #9 below, boxwood garland – #6 below). LOVE the texture and muted colors of lambs ear. This would look fantastic mixed with a cedar garland

Wreaths are such a versatile piece because really they can be hung anywhere you want to add a touch of greenery. This year I am opting for a faux cedar swag (#2) to go above my kitchen window. I’m planning to add ribbon and twinkle lights. For my front door I’m going for a swag (#12), I’m wanting something slightly different for my front door since we will have classic wreaths on all of our outdoor windows this year.

I love a full wreath, but am into this simple mixed greenery wreath from Target. Already purchased to hang above the hood in my kitchen and on a mirror in my dining room. If you need to warm up a space, this gold leaf wreath is just gorgeous and can really be used for all of fall/winter. Links to everything are below (affiliate links). Happy shopping!
